About Matt
Entrepreneur, investor, dad and expeditionary traveler.
Matt is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Stellifi Venture Capital. Prior to Stellifi, Matt co-founded and led the Geyser Group, a private Austin-based commercial real estate sponsor and developer.
Before Geyser, Matt founded a family office and spent 7 years investing in all flavors of alternatives, but primarily venture capital and commercial real estate. Before that, Matt served as the COO of Famigo, a venture backed technology company in the education and consumer sectors of the mobile technology industry.
Matt has also served in a variety of non-profit roles, including 5 years as an Outward Bound instructor and one as a classroom teacher. Matt earned a J.D. from UT Law, an MBA with a Finance concentration from the College of Charleston and a BA in Philosophy from Colgate University.
Matt splits his time between Austin and Steamboat Springs, CO where he and his family enjoy skiing, mountain biking and fly fishing. He also serves on the board of Sonic Guild, a national organization that supports the careers of musicians and the creation of their art.
